| function | Tilmicosin has similar antibacterial activity to macrolides and is effective against Gram-positive bacteria and some Gram-negative bacteria and mycoplasma. Pharmacodynamic antibacterial effect is similar to tylosin, mainly resistant to Gram-positive bacteria, and also effective against a few Gram-negative bacteria and mycoplasma. It is more active against Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Pasteurella and Mycoplasma hominis than tylosin. |
