Funktion	Tilmicosin hat eine ähnliche antibakterielle Aktivität wie Makrolide und ist gegen grampositive Bakterien und einige gramnegative Bakterien und Mykoplasmen wirksam. Die pharmakodynamische antibakterielle Wirkung ähnelt der von Tylosin, ist hauptsächlich resistent gegen grampositive Bakterien und wirkt auch gegen einige gramnegative Bakterien und Mykoplasmen. Es ist aktiver gegen Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Pasteurella und Mycoplasma hominis als Tylosin.
