Metronidazole is Nitroimidazole derivative.It has strong antimicrobial activity against anaerobe, trichomonas, amoeba and giardia lamblia.Used for:
1.mixed infection of various aerobic bacteria and anaerobic bacteria, including abdominal and pelvic infection, lung abscess, brain abscess, etc., but usually used together with anti-aerobic bacteria antibacterial drugs.
2.oral administration can be used for clostridium difficile induced pseudomembranous enteritis, hp-related gastritis, periodontal infection and Gardner's vaginitis, etc., as the preferred drug for the treatment of vaginal trichomoniasis.
