Oplosbaar in water of ethanol en opgelost in glycerol. Het wordt voornamelijk gebruikt om bruine huid en stomatitis, glossitis, sick sinoatriaal knoopsyndroom, atrioventriculair blok enzovoort te voorkomen en te genezen.
