"Early symptoms of deficiency include fatigue, weight loss, sore tongue, inattention, mood changes, loss of sensation in the feet, loss of balance when eyes are closed or in the dark, and difficulty walking.
"Nowadays, regular use of specialized oral supplements or vitamin B12 injections can completely treat or prevent deficiencies."
